Information outlined in this section pertains to engraving requirements and suggestions for our Gift Gallery items only. The engraving copy area and specifications differ greatly from item to item and from the engraving information presented for our writing instruments. Minimum order quantities and copy area for each item are summarized below.

Pricing and Set-up Charges

Laser engraving in one location in one of our nine standard engraving fonts is included in the published prices for the Multifunction Calculator, Stainless Steel Key Chain/Tool, and Key Tags offered in our Gift Gallery. Catalog minimums must be met per series or item number.

Standard Font Laser Engraving

Your first line of standard font engraving is always free on any of our engravable items, and this line can be a repetitive message or individual names. There is no extra cost for personalization. So, yes, that means we can process an order and engrave a different name on each item. And it's free! (Catalog minimum order quantities must be met for each series or item.)
   Two lines of repetitive copy are offered at no charge on all engravable items in our Gift Gallery. To qualify as repeat copy, the same two lines of text must be engraved on all units within the order. If one line of text is repetitive, and the other line will vary within the order, a charge of $1.00 (G) per line, per piece will be incurred to process the second line of copy. The second line of copy will be centered directly beneath the first line of engraving.

Laser Logo Engraving

You may further customize your order with a specialized font or logo in place of our free line of personalization or the one/two lines of repetitive copy in our standard engraving styles. A one-time programming fee of $30.00 (G) will be charged the first time that you run a laser logo. Our high-speed lasers eliminate your per-piece running charges.
Non-standard typestyles or fonts are considered a laser logo and are subject to the $50.00 (G) set-up charge the first time that each different copy or text is run. Each logo or copy must meet the catalog minimum quantity for the item selected. Please keep in mind that these items have greatly varying copy areas for your laser logo. Not all artwork will reproduce legibly on all items. Please submit a rough layout of your copy requirements, and our product specialists will contact you with suggestions.

Combined Quantity Pricing

Due to the significant and varying setup processes, different items and model numbers may not be combined for quantity pricing discounts or to meet minimum order quantities. Imprint, engraving, and doming options may not be combined on an item for quantity discounts or to meet the catalog minimum order quantity. Combined quantity pricing with Garland Photo Logo Collections is not available.

Less than minimum orders are not available on Gallery items.

Minimum Order Quantity & Copy Area

J550 Multifunction Calculator  The minimum order quantity for the Multifunction Calculator is 24 units. Engraving will be positioned on the sliding front cover. If standard font engraving is requested, a maximum of two lines of text with up to 28 characters and spaces per line can be accommodated. This item offers a much larger copy area if the laser logo option is selected—up to a maximum of 1 1/4” (31.75mm) wide x 2” (50.8mm) high. This engraving area provides ample space for a logo and additional lines of copy if required. Select top, center, or bottom of engraving area for centering copy. If centering location is not provided, we will select the position that we feel provides for best appearance.

J600 Stainless Steel Key Chain/Tool  The minimum order quantity for the Stainless Key Chain/Tool is 100 units. Engraving copy on the Key Chain/Tool will be positioned within the 1” (25.4mm) triangle based on the configuration of the copy or artwork provided. The actual length and height that can be engraved will be determined by the artwork and may have to be reduced or repositioned to fit all copy within the triangular shape. Be careful to consider the triangular configuration of the copy area when selecting your text, logo, or artwork.
   The Stainless Steel Key Chain/Tool can also be engraved on the second side. Add a second $35.00 (G) set-up charge, and a $1.50 (G) per-piece running charge for the second location imprint copy.

J405 Square Key Tag  The minimum order quantity for the Square Key Tag is 50 units. The maximum area that can be engraved on the Square Key Tag is 1” (25.4mm) wide by 5/8” (15.9mm) high.
  The Square Key Tag can also be engraved on the second side. Add a second $35.00 (G) set-up charge, and a $1.50 (G) per-piece running charge for the second location imprint copy.

J400 Pull-Apart Key Tag  The minimum order quantity for the Pull-Apart Key Tag is 50 units. The maximum area that can be engraved with a laser logo on the Pull-apart Key Tag is 1” (25.4mm) wide by 1/2” (12.7mm) high.
  The Pull-Apart Key Tag can also be engraved on the second side. Add a second $35.00 (G) set-up charge, and a $1.50 (G) per-piece running charge for the second location imprint copy.
