SUCCESS STORY: In order to effectively introduce and market a new drug treatment, a large pharmaceutical company needed a memorable promotion item. The pharmaceutical company first compiled a nationwide list of prospective doctors. Then it launched a campaign that included the #395 series of pens from our Founder's Collection with purple barrels. This style pen was selected because it could fit a large amount of copy on the barrel. The pens had the new drug name and logo imprinted on the barrel along with a telephone # and web address, and the drug insignia displayed in the dome top. Garland provided an added opportunity for personalization - the doctor's individual names were engraved on the cap of the pens. In addition, custom packets were designed that had an image of the new drug treatment on the cover and information about the product on the inside flap. The entire campaign was successful in promoting awareness of the drug and the pharmaceutical company witnessed an increase in sales nationwide as a result.

SUCCESS STORY — New Service Announcement: A small, upscale casino added on a room of new slot machines and wanted to do a promotion to increase awareness of the new machines. A list of area residents along with current casino members were targeted and the casino sent a custom imprinted gift card as an invitation to visit the greatly anticipated extra slots. The card featured a picture of a slot machine on the front. Inside was a message that recipients would receive a free pen as a door prize when they presented their gift packet at the casino. A #785 in polished chrome from our Signature Collection was selected with the casino's logo in the dome. The response was overwhelming as many people showed up to receive this elegant writing instrument and check out the new machines.
